　「もももも萌え萌え♡ 」は、「電波ソング」を題材に作曲された無伴奏ヴァイオリン作品である。その後、作者によってチェロ版、歌詞付きのボーカルバージョンが作曲された。

　主に2000年代の成人向けPCゲームの主題歌から始まった「電波ソング」というジャンルは、アップテンポ、過剰な分散和音、奇異な転調やコード進行、効果音、合いの手、掛け声等の音楽的特徴を持ち、その特異な音楽は、日本のオタクカルチャー、「萌え」カルチャーを象徴している。

そんな「電波ソング」を作者は、まるでアニメ絵を西洋美術の油絵で描くように、無伴奏ヴァイオリンというフォーマットを用いて西洋音楽の文脈上に持ち込んだ。

　梅本による美少女キャラクター「萌え:||ちゃん」（もえもえちゃん）はこの作品をテーマ曲として生まれた。

"MOMOMOMOMOEMOE♡" is a piece for solo violin composed based on the Japanese "otaku" music "Denpa Song".

"Denpa Songs" was spread from the theme songs of Japanese adult PC games(Eroge) in the 2000s. Common features of denpa songs include fast-tempo, excessive arpeggio,intentionally strange and catchy modulation, chord, sound effects, off-key vocals, nonsensical lyrics and an over-the-top tune. And its unique music symbolizes Japanese "otaku" and "moe" culture, and is a significant aspect of Japanese subculture.

Umemoto put such a "Denpa song" into the context of Western music and contemporary music using the format of "unaccompanied violin", as if drawing an anime with Western art oil painting.

The premiere of the first version for violin, took place on the Tokyo Music Evening Yube on June 30, 2021 in Tokyo, performed by Tatsuki Narita. The second version for cello was premiered by Soshi Hara on November 24, 2021 in Tokyo.
